Electric bikes (otherwise known as ebikes) are very intuitive. If you can ride a regular bike, you can ride an ebike! Everything works exactly the same as a regular bike except one big difference – when you pedal, the bike “assists” you – making pedaling up hills a breeze! When you coast (not pedaling) or braking, the ebike is just like a bike – it behaves exactly the same and there is no power during those times.

You can pedal while riding, and you have 5 levels of assist, anywhere from just a little to a lot of assist (that make those big hills seem like nothing), and you have full and simple control over this directly from your handlebars. 

You will not run out of battery power while riding – our bikes have premium quality lithium batteries which last longer than we do!

Every rental will include:
  • Bike Helmet
  • Bike Lock(s)
  • Storage bag for all the essentials
  • Phone mount
  • Brief but thorough orientation for eBike use

May we suggest:

  • Eyewear (sun shades)
  • Enclosed Footwear (required)
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera & Phone
  • Water

You must have a valid government issued ID, cell phone number, email address and major credit card.

Yes! Every rental will include bike locks. (We are not responsible for personal items left in bike bag)

All riders must be at least 18 years of age, or 12 with a parent or guardian. Min. height 4’11”, and the Max. weight 300 lbs. All riders must be physically able to ride a bike.

Depending on the level of peddle assist and power you use, our Ebikes can travel 30- 45 miles. 

Our pedal assist Ebikes have a top speed of 20 mph!

Riding in the rain is not fun for most people. We don’t expect you to slog around in a downpour. If the weather looks miserable on your rental day, please contact us, we let you decide. Our bikes are capable of riding in wet conditions, but we are happy to reschedule or offer a refund if the skies aren’t cooperating. 

In the event of a flat tire, you can call our lead tour guide at the number listed on our homepage. He will assist you with a new tire.

As part of our waiver, renters agree to pay for all damages or equipment losses incurred during their rental above normal wear and tear. Please review our Terms and Conditions Agreement here.

To receive a full refund, you must contact us directly through email or phone 24 hours prior to your rental or tour start time. Any time after that we will charge 100% (no refund is given). We have a limited number of Ebikes available, we hope you understand. Please contact ASAP if you are going to cancel.

If you want to reschedule, you must do so within 24 hours of the start time of your rental or tour. Anytime after that, $25 (per person) will be charged to your account. 

We cannot provide a refund for no shows. We have limited EBikes, if you decide not to go, please let us know.
